James started out owning a garden service for 5 years. Then in 2006 he decided to start tree felling full time, a passion he developed after many of our clients in the garden service would ask him to trim a tree or cut it down altogether. Since he began tree felling he has never looked back, James prides himself on being a totally hands on Owner and Operator of Big J’s Treefelling.

My walls were being damaged by two trees that Big J's recently cut down and I couldn't be happier with the results. James and his team did a great job on recent treefelling request. 11 trees(7 in my yard, 4 in neighbours). No issues and even asked if I was happy based on instructions provided or if they should cut trees back some more. Trees shaped and should be good for a year or 2 now again. Left all the wood that could be used for bon fire neatly cut up in section of my yard and removed all unwanted branches. Well priced for the amount of work that had to go into project.
Would recommend James and his team any day !!!Arrived on time, and was finished when he said he would be.He's Insured, so there's peace for mind, AND he knows what he's doing. No damage to anything as the tree came down.
